Massage is an often overlooked “luxury”, something that is done to pamper ourselves, when really it is something that should be seen as a regular part of an active person’s life.

If you look at your body as a car…the food you eat is your fuel, and massage is the servicing or maintenance of your car. Often we only have massage when we find that the body is in desperate need of it ( rather like a car breaking down), whereas if we had our massages regularly, then this would help to avoid any breakdowns and keep the body running as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

As we age, we tend to think that aches, pains and stiffness is a normal part of the ageing process, and whilst generally we will not maintain the same level of flexibiltiy that we had in our youth, there is no reason why this should be accompanied by aches and pains.

Massage is an amazing tool to help iron out any knots that apear in the tissues, to help increase mobility and flexibility, as well as increasing blood flow around the body, reducing stress and numerous other health benefits.
